Chappell Farm's Handmade Soaps and Lotions

Handmade soap and lotions that are good for your skin! Our soaps cleanse your skin without stripping natural oils. Handmade glycerin soaps can be especially good for sensitive skin because glycerin is a natural humectant and moisturizer. In addition to the naturally occurring glycerin, our handmade soap is superfatted, meaning that it contains extra amounts of soothing, luxurious oils like shea butter, cocoa butter, avocado oil and mink oil. Our lotions leave your skin feeling soft, silky, and wonderful! Both our soaps and lotions are hand-made in small batches using only the finest ingredients. We offer several wonderful scents that are available in soaps, lotions, creams, sachets, and room fresheners. A number of our products are also available in unscented varieties. In addition, we offer several specialty soaps, including handmade soaps for pets, gardener's soap, mechanic's soap, our luxurious Spoil Me Stupid bath bar, castile type olive oil soaps, Hunter's Soap, and more. We offer fragrant sachets, creams, sugar scrubs, and whipped body butters in unscented varieties and in scents to match most of our other products.

What ISN'T in our soap, lotion, cream,whipped shea butter, and body butter is just as important as what IS in them. Our handmade soaps contain no synthetic detergents which can strip the skin's natural oils. Our soaps do contain luxurious oils and butters that are good for your skin. We use only the finest ingredients including olive oil, shea butter, cocoa butter, sweet almond oil, coconut oil, grapeseed oil, sunflower oil, and in our most luxurious products, a touch of mink oil.

Our handmade lotions, creams, and body butters are as natural as possible. We do add small amount of non-paraben preservative to keep your products fresh and safe. Our lotions, creams, and butters contain no added alcohol, and are made from some of the same luxurious oils that we use in our soaps. We do not use mineral oils or petroleum products in our lotions and creams. Many cosmetic companies use mineral oil as a cheap "filler" but we do not use any fillers. The oils and butters that we choose actually benefit your skin. Petroleum products such as mineral oil just sit on the skin and are not absorbed very well, if at all. They do provide some benefit due to the fact that they can function as a protective barrier on skin, but the oils and butters that we choose for use in our products do much for than that. Each oil and butter that we choose is proven to be more beneficial to the skin than petroleum products. Our most luxurious line of products contains mink oil. Mink oil closely resembles the skin's natural oils so is easily absorbed. Mink oil contains a high percentage of fatty acids that are very good for skin. Studies have shown that mink oils can penetrate the skin without clogging pores.

We offer a variety of handmade bath and beauty products, including sugar scrubs and salt scrubs. We will be introducing new products on a monthly basis. All new products will be offered at special low, introductory prices during the first month, so be adventurous, try something new each month! We do accept custom orders.
